So irritating. I didn't look at the wheels closely and the air had been holding so I was sooooo happy. And last night it began again. So to date, I've yet to have maintenance free wheels in a year. It's crazy. I'm at my wits end.

Savini got me straight and now I deal with this incompetant shop.

I'm trying to stay possitive here. Learned the possitive thing from a good freind of mine......... (GTAHVIT) But this just sucks.

I told this dumbass too. That the wheels are directional. Ugh.............. Same guy who punched a hole in the sidewall of one of the tires. They had to replace last a few weeks ago.

Pics from my phone this morning, show the wheels on wrong, and the sraping. The scraping goes all the way around perfectly. Tires are directional so they have to be dismounted and remounted. FOR ABOUT THE 7TH TIME IN A YEAR.

Dude,

I feel for you, this Ricky The Redneck shop would have to write a check for this. Hopefully they will own up to it.

And looking Sweet,

I only ordered the wheels for the back, so I'll have a mixed set when racing, black on back and polished factory wheels on the fronts...

I'm not even gonna ask them to. Only reason I kept going back is because they were not charging me much and the passed 2 times they charged me nothing. I'm going in there this afternoon and just get my sensor. I'll let them fix the problem IF a different guy does the work. If they don't hold air this time, I'll have stockers on for the fest. Probably for the best anyway.

The bad thing about this is all you wanted was a kick ass set of wheels that didn't vibrate, held air, and wasn't scratched and it has been nothing but a headache. I know the feeling, really frustrating when you pay good money for things and have these results.

No. I didn't see them do it. I have no doubt they did, but I can't prove it. Im just gonna show the manager and tell him he better keep an eye on his tire guy so he doesn't screw up somebodies wheels with much less patience than me. I'm not gonna ask him to fix it or evenmake it right. Just make my wheels hold air. If I can get that, I'm fine. I don't ask much. I paid them to do the work. I can't do it at home or I would.

I know one thing....... I'll be doing my own cam when it's time. NOBODY is working on my car anymore but me. People just don't give a damn.

What Jkyl said,

I would so be in someones butt, spending that much for a set of wheels, and have this much trouble...

I wish I had a suggestion but man, this is out of this world...I wonder if there is a company that could polish the beads and see if that helps. I know when I worked part time in a tire shop, there was some really thick goopy stuff, the consistency of thick grease that we would occasionally use on somewhat rusty beads to get a seal, but not on a 5000 dollar plus set of wheels.

You are so correct about people not caring, but if the cam gets to be too much I will vouch for Vengeance in Georgia but this is the only shop I let touch mine. They treat my car like it is theirs, not one speck of dust was on mine when I went to pick it up.

Man I hate to hear that about your wheels Randy. You've had nothing but bad luck with those things.

Must be me. The decisions I make I gotta question at this point. Maybe I should have took my wheels to Jacksonville or Houston? If I were on the oustside looking in, I'd be asking what the hell is PQ doing?

I'm a very patient guy. Maybe that's my problem. TOO patient. Like with Savini, I wait to long to blow the hell up. Maybe I need to be a total douche on the FIRST sign of trouble?

I've heard good things about them. But DAMN, it sucks I gotta travel 400 freaking miles in any direction to get a good shop.

Boy oh Boy PQ.. you can't catch a break with those tires and wheels.

That scratch looks like the shop did something when they went to balance them.. maybe the idiot forgot the cone. I would make the shop replace it.

After all that trouble, I'd be putting them on EBAY after they hold air and ordering something else...

It hurts reading about you still fighting those @#$%^ wheels... and the fault lies with the tire shop Idiot.
