Cool Skunk, that's what I originally requested but the guys said it may rub If I want to lower my car. So we ended up with the 275/35/20 front. As long as the 40's don't rub after lowering this is the set up I want. Sounds like others with a similar set up have no front tire rub issues as well.

Thanks for the info guys. This helped me out.

Oddly enough that's what I'm running on 10" front and 10.5" rear. I'm not lowered yet.
I think you should find out what offset they are all running before you just buy a size. I think I can only drop 1" with my tires and offset.

Ah yes because offset will be different from rim to rim. The guys from CCW will know best I'm guessing. That's why they recommended the 275/35's

So I'm back to asking the question will 275/35/20 front and 315/35/20 rear work with no adverse affect to traction or stability control? Chozn has the closest to this setup with no problems. Anyone else out there in car land want to chime in?

I'm 275/40 up front on 20x10. They don't rub for me. My rears do rub on dips and bumps in the road if I'm moving fast enough. They're 315/35 on 20x11 and stick out the fender a bit... Lowered an inch, rear is sagging slightly.

I went with CCW. 10" in front with 275's, 11.5" in rear with 315's (Nitto's)

As for CCW, was easy in to choose the tire, and rims they knew what to do from there as for back spacing, TPS sensors and etc.

I'm fully modified and lowered .... almost 5 years since car was built, with 21,000+ miles (as of last drive to Detroit for the ********* launch). No rubbing of any kind, and I have also done some auto-x events

The ONLY thing you'll need to do, is relocate the parking brake cables, as the rear rims are tucked in. (basically secure the cable up better than what factory clip does)

Not sure if any one read the OP,s question the thread went way off track fast.

315/35/20 is the going size on this site for the wider wheels with correct offset.

There have been a few cases where I have seen some guys drop the front tire from a 275/40/20 to a 275/35/20 and they reported no computer freak outs... I cant tell you 100% I guess you would just have to try it out. the posts I read they where using nitto invo.

Can't recall how big, but I believe so. The rears have a -28mm offset. -40mm in the front *I think*. They're pretty well concaved.

I have 275/40-20 up front on a 9.5 rim and 315/35-20 out back on a 11 rim. I'm lowered just over 1" on Pedders XA coilovers. I've run this setup for the past 4 years with no rubbing or clearance issues.

275/35/20

^^

35 (not 40)

35= less sidewall (not correct height but close may cause computer freak out)
40=beefy sidewall (correct height)

So thankful for this thread...I am 1" lowered on BMR springs. I have wheels on order fronts are 20x9 +32 offsets and rears are 20x10.5 +45 offsets. Still waiting on the wheels but I got my tires Nitto Motivo 275/40/20 fronts and 315/35/20 rears. The rear tires look GIGANTIC and I started freaking out that they will not fit. Still worried about the +45 not leaving enough room on the backside of the tire. Question...I don't see the e-brake cable being an issue. Mine is a 2013. Did they fix that issue?

Not sure this will help you much. I'm running Motivos in the same sizes as you but different size wheels and offsets. I'm running 9s in the front with 27mm offset and 10s in the rear with 35mm offset. I'm lowered and inch with a little extra negative camber. No parking brake cable issue or any other issues. I was like you, when the tires arrived I was concerned about the 315s fitting when I saw them. Fortunately no problems.

Note: My sig picture was with the stock size tires before the Motivos.
