Question Exhaust Question??

I have Kooks Headers and hi-flow cats, paired with a Corsa cat back exhaust.
I feel like the exhaust is getting louder??
Anyhow, I want to tone down the volume a bit, but I love the raspy exhaust note of the Corsa. Not a huge fan of the low rumbly exhausts.
Any suggestions??

You can always add a mid muffler.

I never heard of a mid muffler?
Does it effect performance?
What do they cost?
That may be the answer since I love the tone.

if you like the corsa sound. i know a member here got a corsa touring exhaust. which is not listed on there website. you have to call corsa. the one you have is the sport

Some exhaust systems run a muffler in the mid pipe to cut down on drone/exhaust volume. As long as you get a free flowing one it shouldn't effect performance any. They shouldn't cost much, price of a muffler $100-200 and then having it welded in. You can always call Corsa and order the touring mufflers and swap those in for your sport mufflers too. Not a bad idea there from MikeSS.
