Yeah, mine kinda whirs or whistles (I don't know), but when I turn it all the way up and then back down it quits. Dealer could not duplicate. Just like a child, they don't act up in front of others!

It's normal. The A/C unit has to pull some power off the engine to run the compressor.

Me too, problem is I changed the pulley and have had mods and a tune. If I take it in will they not warranty it?

HVAC shouldn't have anything to do with your mods or the tune. You should be fine.

Thanks. Did anyone else get it fixed through the dealer?

I've got the same issue as well. I'm going to have it looked at next season when it's out of storage.

I've had my car since June and it just started doing this. I haven't used my AC for months, and it chirps when the fan is on at any time (defrost, heat, etc.) I don't use recirculating air either.

Sounds silly but mine started the other day. Anyway one of my vents was closed and the air getting pushed through the closed vent was what was causing a high pitched whistleing noise. Once I opened vent noise went away. Something could be wrong but just check your vents before you take it in could be like mine
