I probably won't make it out to the drag strip this weekend (gotta start on my next stock report) but here's what I've learned for my car:

Don't burn out in the wrong area lol (yeah I burned out before the "burnout area" just trying to warm up the tires like everyone else and they threatened to kick me out my very first time haha); Best results typically are with traction control all the way off; Launching between 3000 and 4000 RPM gives you the best take off; Cool off the engine after every 4-5 runs (at least I like to); and be prepared to buy new tires once you start going to the track a lot because it becomes addicting.

Although the launching RPMs might be different for your car being supercharged....You might want to see if Diana or Daren chime in what they typically launch at, etc...

No, I wish I could but I'm not going to be able to take off for work.

Didn't even know about the meet going on this weekend (shows how isolated I've been lately doing my research haha)....Yeah I'll try to make it out!

Yeah, you got the harness for the fogs behind the fascia.....pull the wheels and inner fender well out and you'll have a bunch of room to work and see in there.

Drag Strip??? Um...I'd love to go. But I've been banned from any "racing" activity until after CF2.

I was thinking of going, but It's looking like a busy day aroung the house Saturday! I doubt I'll get a chance. What time are you planning on going? You don't want to launch with your rpms as high as Scott recommended with your Supercharger. You'll just be spinning. It depends what kind of tires you're on, but I'd say between 2500-3000rpm. Good luck if I don't see you out there.

The CCNM meetinis actually April 21st not the 7th. Don't want you guys to go there and nothing be going on!

Big Squirrel, I'm gonna skip the drags tomorrow, but I might do a double header next Saturday, with the SMS Cars and Coffee, and follow it up with a run or 2 at the drags to break in these 18"s if you or anyone else is interested!

Hey guys I'm working on a couple of upgrades as well hope to have them done before we leave for CFEST only 11 MORE DAYS (sorry I'm very excited about it) won't make it tomorrow to Dos Hermanos so I'll see everyone bright and early at rt. 66!!!
