Volant CAI?

Where can I get a Volant CAI locally in Phoenix?

Thanks
Joe

I have a Volant installed on mine and I like it. It looks nice and it added a little power and great sound to the engine but on a 426 hp car a 10 hp gain or so only accounts for about a 2-3% change - so whatever brand of cold air intake you get is gonna be about the same in terms of how much stronger it will feel. I went with Volant because it has a covered design and was designed to look like the stock design you find on the engine cover.

In regards to the first post - I don't know of any places in Phoenix but I know my buddy Ivan at Southwest Speed can ship one over to you in a jiffy.

Thanks for the info. I'm not looking mainly for the added HP, after all I'm on an island. The guy that changed my mufflers recommended it to me.

Word! Thanks Scott!!

Like my man here says, we carry a BUNCH of CAI's for the new 5th Gen.

In addition to carrying Volant, we also have AFE, Airaid and K&N.

I have a Airaid on a car pushing over 700 RWHP, an AFE on another with over 500 and a slew of the four mentioned here over 450. I'm sure all are within a handful of power of the next. I honestly don't think that there is one "magic" CAI that stands head and shoulders above the rest.

It's most likely about appearance at this point.

Let me know if we can be of any technical or sales assistance.
Ivan

Mine was on the doorstep today. Just finished installing it. Already have a problem...probably due to something I did wrong. Seems that no matter how I position the breather hose, it comes to rest on the belt and within 5 minutes of it running it's almost rubbed through the hose. From the pics I've seen on here of the Volant and the hose...it looks as if everyone that has one of these has the hose positioned exactly the same as I do. Anyone else have this problem? Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I wedged mine into the cut on the engine cover and it hasn't fallen off yet. I'm going to come up with a better design....I'll keep you posted.
