I'm in the 11s still on OEM rubber (pre suspension work).. Just have to know how to launch with a PD blower.

You got it! People tend to forget that a throttle pedal is not an on/off switch and that you have the ability to chose exactly how much power you need. That is one of the major benefits of the PD blower. With the throttle body in front of the supercharger your right foot has direct control over the air flow going into the supercharger and the ability to "command" however much boost you need at any given moment. You just have to learn how to drive it.

PD or Centri ? These threads always turn to arguments for some reason. I believe the best thing is to gather as much info as you can, try to get a ride or even better, try a car with both, and then make a decision based on what you like better and your intended use. I personally prefer PD (I've had both), because I love that down low brute torque that reminds me of the old big block days. I do most of my driving on the street and at lower rpms anyways.
As far as track results, both can do the job. Obviously the PD blowers are slow and have no track potential. That is proven by the funny cars and top fuelies..

I managed a 1.78 60' time with my Maggie on stock pirelli's. It just takes a little finesse and seat time... No prob.
