It's had the th400 in it for the past three years. Got fed up with clutch problems.

Yeah I knew that, just wasn't sure if you were sticking with it now.

Understandable, but ya never tried a Monster in it just saying...I'm sure you're aware of the Cartek H/C Gen 5 that went 10.8 with one

Looking forward to you setting some records this time around!

I've never driven a Monster that I liked.
It had a RPS BC2 in it last. It ran its fastest passes (10.2's) with the stock clutch. I shouldn't have taken it out.

I can't believe no one had been faster than me NA. I haven't raced it in 17 months.

Hmmm, thought you tuned Toque's vette? Well the Monster in the 500rwhp NA camaro cut a 1.54, interesting the RPS/HE clutch didn't net a faster time for you. Jam3 cut a 1.48 with a Monster in his Gen 5 with 700rwhp fwiw, of course I know you went faster when you put the auto in with the built motor. I remember seeing it once at the track when GSS was around, it went 10.5 NA right?

sam , care to pm me about some weight saving. im about to start a bit of a build for my car. would like to know all i can before i start tearing it down this winter.
Ppl dis the factory clutch in these cars but im gonna tell u. ive dogged mine hard on a shot at the track and it has stuck to the floor a few times but other then that its held pretty good. (flushed out the old fluid and it was good) i should be right around 625-650rwhp and 675 tq on a 150 shot. its taking it like a champ so far. Im know i need to upgrade but im kinda afraid to . U hear so many ppl hating on clutchs that they spent a good chuck on. the street slayer and rxt are about the only ones i know of that ppl dont hate on.

It will be after the first of the year. I have a full plate at the shop.
The good news is its finished being painted and looks unreal for the factory color. Ill post pictures when I start putting it back together in December.

Are you running 15" wheels on the front? If so what had to be done to make them fit?
