$52,176.This is not including gas guzzler tax nor destination charges.Hold back I believe is 3%.You should also note that the dealer pays LESS than invoice for the car.I dont know how much less but it is less.

since dealers do not pay invoice it should be called dealer cost. What is the point of an invoice if no one pays that ammount?

here is my car. It had exposed carbon$600 and suede$495.

hb was $1663

now invoice is tricky now that they have the IMR ahd LMA fee's.

so as you can see invoice on ine was 54,294 if I you take away destination, IMR, LMA but it was 56,284 if you include them.

I paid supplier 56,001 -500 cash back +250 courtesy delivery so I paid 55,751.

They are for advertising. Not every dealer has that. You can negotiate those somewhat.

This is really useful info.

How does one get $500 Cash Back and/or does the $1000 "Special Offer" work
for the ZL1?

I'd buy a ZL1 at invoice in a heart beat. The fact that a local dealer has 4 ZL1's without a buyer makes me cringe...

I got the $500 through an email from the suppier pricing website. Those offers usually have a time period associated with them.

The dealership I went with would take my supplier code but go no lower without it being some form of incentive to them.

I'm walking in with a pre-filled out check and a clean trade-in, it's the end of the month and getting close to the end of the year; let's see how much they like money or sitting on inventory.

Wish me luck!

- Update -

Well, I had a ZL1 at Invoice, plus the $1000 private offer and I still walked away.
The ZL1 felt a little more refined than my SS, but I just couldn't come to terms with
the deal. I was give a reasonable $26,000 trade in value for my 2SS, and they were willing to absorb the cost of removing my mods, but I'm not convinced that the ZL1
is worth the additional $30,000. I have until Sunday (really?), so...
have at it Cfivers, especially former SS owners; was I foolish to walk away?

How many miles on your SS?? That seems like a pretty good deal. I have been thinking about trading for a ZL1 also but I keep thinking I should see what the new Vette looks like and the 2015 Camaro. I have around $25,000 in mods and I know I can kiss at least half of that good bye. I really think I might wait until spring and see what I can get selling it myself..
