SafeRacer is another helmet source, with a variety of brands to choose from. They're apparently partnered with SCCA, so if you've got an SCCA membership there's a discount.

Whichever way you go, you'll want a full-face helmet meeting SA2010.

Its best to have your own lid but autointrest will qawordanate with track first to rent you one if you know your size and give plenty of notice. Im not sure on pricing

Regarding helmets US Race Gear is located in Cincinnati. That way you can try the helmet on before you buy to ensure perfect fit. They have great prices too.

I saw in the other thread where you were running 285/35's all around. Were they on the OE 10"/11" wheels?

Can't speak for Tom but I run 285/35s all around on the OE 20x10 and 20x11 wheels. 1LE's come like that from factory

. I take it Tom tried a different size this time around? Those 315s were some wide tires! lol

I have 285/35r20 on a set of chrome 20x10 wheels. And i have 305/30r20's on the factory black wheels 20x11 in the rear 20x10 up front

Thanks, Tom. With the 285's anyway, it's a bit easier to get it loose in the keyhole on the throttle, no?

Do they have any rules regarding window tint? I have 5% on the sides and back. Obviously it doesn't matter on the sides since they are typically down for signaling but I would hate to get there and get failed going through tech for my back window being so dark.....

As far as I know there are no regulations on tint. Tech is mainly to make sure you have no leaks and make sure nothing is loose. Home you can make it though! I want to see a lot of Camaros there and another 2014 1LE would be awesome

When I went there I had 18% on sides and rear. This time I will have 50% windshield and 18% on rest. I also now have my tail lights tinted as well. Both side windows will be down

TLSTWIN, I won't be there... Unless its a Sunday then I could lol. Its just to much of a drive for me after driving all week long.
