Thumbs up GFX ??? For my Camaro

I was on the fence with the GFX on my Camaro when I got it, Now looking around the web seeing the SynGrn Camaro's with the GFX I find my self wanting them.. Is it better to get the ones from the dealer? or are there better options else where?

Also are they difficult to put on?do you have to drill holes or is it all done with 3M double sided tape?

As always Thanks!!!!

Ok so I bought the GM GFX for my car from someone that totaled their car....sad but true..I bought it for less that half price and had it painted for 500....installed myself and did have to drill the bumper...big deal.....I like the look and would recommend the GM GFX virsus the after market. I'm thinking the after market don't fit just right...my2

Thumbs up

I say get the GM GFX and do not paint them. The dark gray compliments the synergy green color perfectly. Any color for that matter except for black. Really makes white "pop" too.

I dig'em. I didn't paint them because they compliment the CGM and matte rallys well.

The paint will get chipped anyway, especially on the front. Then you'll end up wishing you didn't paint them or spend all your time touching them up.

Not just the front. I don't have painted GFX, but won't the GFX rockers get chipped up as well? And the rear piece? This may be the reason GM didn't even offer a pre-painted GFX (besides the cost of keeping more part numbers in stock).

As usual, I'm sure there are painted GFX owners with no chipping issues at all. They will be chiming in shortly. ...

Get the factory graphics package. I agree the contrast looks good and get square exhaust tips. If you can get them centered (which mine won't stay centered) they look unique and clean look.

Was looking at the OEM GFX on ebay and you can get them for $1300 with best offer. Nice savings.
