I really hate hearing that this happened. I really hope somehow they get caught & punished and I hope everything is fixed up good as new ASAP.

Thanks, Ruby. Unfortunately, this is probably going to end up being like 99% of the rest of'em. These guys have probably done this a hundred times and will probably only ever get probation if they do get caught. What they really need is to get caught by the vehicle owner...that'd be some street justice right there.

Oh, I'd post the video of me chasing down the guy through the walmart parking lot, but we have some rules against posting stuff like that......damnit. Cause IT WAS COOL!

I heard it was pretty good, oh well... I believe you, I imagine you and a freight train and a brick wall have a lot in common

I might not be too quick on my feet....but one thing is for sure, if I get a hold of you or get you dead on full speed, it'll be bad. Cause in all seriousness, this freight train is kinda hard to stop!

Oh...and THR#2 goes into the shop tomorrow for an estimate on the drivers door. I got a crap ton more glass out of the door through the bottom drain holes today when I was cleaning it up. But it'll need paint on the door, a new interior door panel, new kick panel, two new rear panels behind the glass, new glass trim (rubber surround), tint, aaaaand that might be it.

Then we have to get going on the other stuff that was stolen. Dana's got a word document going that's already in the 3k range with all her makeup which was stolen...tablet, two brand new pairs of shoes, etc... Hope we can get some $ back, but know it won't be much.

Maybe you were so much more graceful that evening because you didn't have the weight of all your duty equipment on you
