Took the car out again today for a long drive, GREAT day for a drive -- running fantastic, temps are under control, driver's experience -- what can I say -- the power on tap is amazing ;o)

Now, I've monitored the oil and not 1 drop has been used/lost. 2000 miles since break-in oil change to DT40 - flawless. Remember, I put 500 miles on it using BR30, changed to DT40 and took it racing in 105° Texas heat! I'd say that was breaking it in properly!

So far, doing just great. I push the car more each time -- if its on rails, I'm not pushing it enough -- so far, the 'driver' needs more mods -- car gives everything I ask it. It has so much more in it than I'm pushing it for ;o)

I'll probably change the oil right before I goto Camaro fest, that should get it a good run by then. I have the Blackstone kit and will send in a sample just to see how its doing -- so far, gotta love how this setup is doing....

Hey Don - where did you get the ABS plastic from that you did the rear pan with?

Amazon. Bought 1/8" in a roll and then 12"x24" squares. I'll see if I can find the order and post links.

Well, signed up for a race day 3/10 at Eagles Canyon Raceway in Decatur. Nice place. $213 for a full Saturday! Looks fun. Then maybe some TNiA events....

That’s great to hear Don, the DT-40 has became our oil of choice for our power adder builds.

Yep, not a single drop used! I already ordered another 12 qts. It’s sitting at the front door :o)

Just running great so far.

Can’t wait to take it to Eagles Canyon for some track fun!

man I really want to try auto cross. I know nothing about it. I know I'll need a helmet but that's it lol. just fast reading though the NCM comments I saw people needing to flush brake fluids, I never would have thought of that. I'm sure Mark would though... one day I'll just go up there and go for it.

New to CamaroCross, you may not need anything. It is best to have fresh pads, rotors and fluids, but new to the game you may not run hard enough to need anything other than what you have today.

If you are unsure about jumping in, come and see me. I'll make sure you get out on course in a car so you get the feel of CamaroCross. This is what CamaroCross is all about, bringing in people to new to the sport, camaraderie with fellow Camaro owners and a great time.
