Can this be added to the other side of the key fob if you still have the switchable key blade?

No, it fits into the hole that the key occupies.

Make and appointment with your service department, let them know you are unhappy with the appearance of the fob after the recall has been done, and provide them with this TSB# so they can order the parts you need. Parts and labor are covered by GM.
This is the info I was looking for. Thanks.

I bought them yesterday off Ebay. There were several websites that had them. Sure GM might give them to me for free but for $30 I don't want to drive down there and deal with them. http://www.ebay.com/itm/401094800151

$25 + ship from here. Think I would suffer without it.

I need one! When I bought my SS, it had already done the TSB, I was wondering why my key didnt have the blade.

I didn't have to pay for mine. I went to the dealer and told them about the panel covers due to the key recall and the service adviser gave me the inserts. At first, they wanted me to bring the whole car down and leave it there, but I gently argued that I didn't have the car with me at the time (I did, but just parked it down the street) so they gave me the two key fob covers and I installed them myself.

For all you guys ragging on the Parts guys the service bulletin was July 2016. Do you have any idea how many service bulletins they read? Not to mention only customers on this forum know about it. I was the only customer in my area with a Camaro & on this forum.

I had to pull my phone out and bring up the thread about these on the forum. They had no idea what I was talking about. They looked it up and ordered them without issue. Talking to them did not help but giving them the service bulletin number did. They believed me then.
