Catch Can Woot Woot!

My Elite Engineering catch can came in today! Great project to break up the midweek monotony.

Unboxed:

Bottom:

Safety First!

Hockey stick bracket installed using stock tensioner bolt:

Can with threads installed - looks killer!

Hose connection on valve cover:

Hose routed from valve cover to can inlet:

Return line/Top view:

All back together:

Easy install and great looks. Definitely would recommend. My buddy commented that he liked the factory installed look... a plus in my book. Great job Elite Engineering!

I've had the EE Catch Can on my V6 for about 7K miles now and it's collected about 6 oz. of gunk. I empty it about once every month or so.

Edit: It was put on when the car had about 800 miles on it, about a month after I bought it.

I thought catch cans were only necessary on engines with direct injection?

I installed the catch can around 1000 miles. I'm curious to see how much oil mine catches.
