Question Bottle heater and ZL1 fuel pump

Hi,

I installed a zex kit on my car about two weeks ago but I didn't buy the bottle heater. I did some research about zex heater and a lot of people says it's very slow. So what's the best bottle heater around? I also have questions about the Zl1 fuel pump install I have seen some people on the forum installed the pump from inside the car rather than taking the whole rear end out. I just want to make sure if it is safe? Because it's much easier to do it from inside the car. Right now I'm spraying 100 shots and I want to upgrade to 150 shots

I have tried 3 different brands of bottle heaters and like the one from Nytrex the best. Instead of being a pad, it uses a metal band. I found to heat up much faster. Cant help you on the pump install, had mine done at the dealer.

Yes, you can cut an access hole in your floor to R&R the pump. Check this thread out. Many people have done it, there is even a door you can get from Summit Racing to put in place of the hole, so that it looks like its supposed to be there.

I couldn't find the link for the door that other people have used, but I did find a 6X6 inch access panel that may work.

Hope this helps. If that panel is too small, you will just have to do some searching for one that's bigger, I know that their out there.

My mechanic just fitted a 6x6 to fit a Livernoise pump to mine, no problem getting the pump in but said the lock ring will not fit through.
