I could have had a Camaro today.. - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

This isn't the dealership I am working with. It is one I had looked at prior but they could only add me on there wait list of which I was number 75 about a month ago. He said they would call you once you were in line for Prelim list. So of course I never bothered with them again. I found my current dealer and paid my deposit and im now number 12 on the 1100 list.

So anyway here is my story I get a call from the first dealership asking me If I was interested in a camaro. I said well yah, and then he said someone had ordered one but didn't qualify for financing so they were making calls to see if anyone was interested. He then asked me if I was set on a color and I said I was. I told him I would love to jump on it but I better just wait and get what I really want. Ack I turned it down!:(

It was a cyber Gray , orange interiro , ground effects etc.. I like that color but it's not my personal choice.. So there is my story I almost could have had a Camaro today lol..

I will be happy once I finally make it to when say hey we are building it and your no longer 1100.

Just thought I would share this lol.

Trust me, get what you really want. You would have regretted for many years later.

All this waiting since the Camaro went on Preorder for me will be wiped away once I sit in my Camaro and drive it home. Patience brings much happiness!

good thing u waited, car has been out for over 3 months, its not worth getting a car now as opposed to your car later

I turned down a customer cancellation 2SS/RS black, orange interior and stripes 6 weeks ago @ MSRP. It didn't have the sunroof or 20 " polished wheels I want so I passed. I'm now glad I did since I hear 27% of all Camaros are black. The only 3 Camaros I've seen on the road so far were black. I think its best to wait and get the exact car you want. Waiting for my ordered Summit white Camaro just the way I want it.
