Would it better to save the money for the Camaro Convertible ?

I know the Cabriolet version will be available within a year of the coupe, but who knows what the price difference will be, so if you have the money to buy the coupe would you consider just waiting and then buying the better looking Convertible? .......

It's more a preference....if you're a vert-lover (or think you might be now) then it's worth waiting for. If you want the car "now", then buy the coupe.

And I hate the term "cabriolet"....just sounds gross.

Judging by other the market it could be between 5-10k more than the coupe. I doubt many people will want to wait for the convertible. I'm going to try really hard and wait for it... Really hard . I hope I can hold out for it. Why must they take so long to make them :(

There's not a chance the convertible will cost 10k more. Not even bmw charges a 10k premium to opt for the convbertible. I would say at most it will be a 5k premium. Any more and it would price itself out its market segment. My speculation would be that the vert will come in between 34K and 36k depending on equipment.

You honestly think the 'vert is better looking than the coupe? Your telling me you dont want the thick and aggresive C-piller or reverse mohawk. Also the coupe shows of the cars sexy shoulders.

I've always been a ragtop guy. If I was building a track machine, I'd of course expect nothing less than a coupe...but I want to cruise in my Camaro and nothing beats cruising with the top down.

I am in the same boat as you, I really wanted to get the Convertible but now that we know the Camaro will come with a power sunroof I just don't know now. I might just get a coupe with a power sunroof and save myself some money, maybe I will even upgrade to the high performance model with that money saved. Just thank goodness for the power sunroof, making my choice easier.

first off, WTF? "diddiyo" knocking the word Chevrolet?!? did anyone else read that?

Anyhow, I understand the Corvette is a different class of car, but the convertible is $10,000 more than the coupe in every trim level.

The meat of the question is right there. It's all in preference. I personally, like the way the Coupe looks, better. (Don't get me wrong, I think the Convertible is VERY awesome-looking, too.)

So for me....no. I wouldn't save extra $$ for it.
