Anyone know what "HANDLING CHARGE FROM OSHAWA PLANT..." is? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

My windows sticker shows "HANDLING CHARGE FROM OSHAWA PLANT, TO GROUND EFFECTS LTD., WHITBY ONT, BACK TO OSHAWA PLANT". Anyone know what the heck that is? I didnt order ground effects.

Did you order rally stripes? I think that is where they install them then send it back to the factory to be shipped.

Something's really messed up here. His car shouldn't go to Whitby at all. His WS says silver stripe package. Unless things have changed, silver is LPO (dealer installed). Only white and cyber-grey rallys are put on at Whitby as far as I know.

Starting on Aug 24th all rally stripes are factory installed.

Inconsistent installs at dealerships I would assume. People were getting bubbled and crooked installs. So I am guessing they want to do them all in one place so they are all the same?

does anyone know since the cars have to travel other places for striping... if they are bumped up in the queue as one that doesnt need the striping?
