Jba high flow catted mid pipes f/s

Finally got them off the car. The catalyst looks excellent on the inside. Has a plastic bag melted on one of them. I can prolly wire brush it off for you. No hardware or gaskets. Will work with auto or manual. No scrapes or dents. Worth over 20rwhp and sounds tons better with them. Bolts up to factory manifolds. All you need is 2 $4 gaskets and 4 bolts and nuts. $150 shipped in the us only. PayPal only.

I am interested as well but I thought the autos needed a section of flex pipe for any HFCs?

Sold the car. Saw no need for headers. The cats were the most restrictive part. These were worth 22rwhp on a stock engine. Headers with high flow cats are worth 30-32 over the stock stuff. Hardly worth $1000 for 8-10hp.

HFC's? Hydo fluorocarbon? Don't know what you mean by that. It was fine on my auto. It was a little noisier when the cylinder deactivation kicked in (isnt it anytime you increase the exhaust noise?) and that's all I noticed.

HFCs=High Flow Cats. I talked to the Solo folks because their HFCs are different for auto (L99) and manual (LS3). Their L99 version include a section of flex-pipe. I asked why and the guy told me that the auto version of the Camaros have different harmonics (vibrations) than the manual. That's why the stock cats also have the flex pipe. Don't know if that's true but it makes sense. I just did not know why JBA did not have the flex pipe. What I have learned is that the cylinder deactivation (AFM) just amplifies any noise you might have after modifying the exhaust. Also, "noise" depends on the ear. Some people like it, some don't, and some don't even hear it.

1) I believe you
2) I had an auto and it was just fine. I tuned out the afm because it annoyed me with the stock exhaust. I did not drive the car with the afm and the HFCs until after I traded it. It wasn't much different than stock. As a matter of fact, my 2013 accord v6 has that junk too and the camaro with the HFCs was barely louder than my accord being all stock.
3) I dunno what else to put on this line but I felt like making it. Lmao

Seriously, the things were fine on my car. They would have stayed on there after trading it in had I known that one of the oxygen sensors was loose and causing a pending code. I did not find that out until removal. Other wise it would not have gotten a cel. When I found out that sensor was loose, they were off the car. I went ahead and put the stock ones back on.

Interesting. Even new, I wonder why the JBAs are so much less than Solo?? I am like you in that I don't think LT headers are worth it. I have read and studied this for months and I will be getting HFCs and a Jannetty Tune. That seems to be the best for me since I will not racing. I'm just looking for a little better performance and better sound. Just trying to figure out which HFCs to get.....

Did you sell them?

The JBA's are less as JBA performance exhaust is part of a HUGE company and SOLO is a small exhaust manufacture. JBA builds runs of 50-100 at a time and small companies do small runs and that drives up the cost.
