Can you believe it was snowing when the tow truck showed up. He was understanding about the splitter, so together we took the time with various methods to get the car safely on his truck. Actually pulled out some 2x6 boards from behind my garage, to get clearance and all went well. I even took pictures to document ...I know, crazy huh?..Anyway, I don't expect to hear from the dealer till maybe monday. :(

Installed my can this morning, then clayed almost the whole car and decided to try some vrt on the hood. Not sure if I like it or not, mostly because it brought a lot of the blotches back into the light, like the where the trail of bird poo was lol.

Hey Ozzy, I meant to tell you your car looks awesome, and really glad it finally arrived. Like your pics, and my lady says the one with your friends child is "cute"...yellow and black like the car.lol. Sure envy you and the others in California, Texas, Louisiana, and other warm states, as some of us have snow, or nasty cold weather. Anyhow, get more pics up with that beautiful car and scenery!

I have only wiped it down with a wet towel, and wiped it immediately with a dry one no issues. The guy who did my clear bra said try alcohol(not liquor)on the wrap.

You can peel off the vinyl and the hood is painted. Just need to remove the glue and polish it.

I don't have water marks on mine. Maybe because it rains so much. LOL.

Have you tried adding Garry Dean's infinite Use Detail Juice to your wash water as a softener? Also, and I'm sure you're doing this, not letting the water dry on the wrap? Using the sheet or pooling method to dry the hood with water has been working great for me ... in between the downfall.

Thanks! I'm working on it. I'll probably wind up hitting all 3 highways again tomorrow for photos with my roommate's friend.
There was a lot of great cars out today...saw a couple of good looking Boss's, a sweet Shelby GT500, and a few other 5th gens. Also found out a friend of a friend owns one of the two SGMs out here. Might have to see about hooking up with her for future photo ops

Now that looks sweet, exactly what I am doing once I get mine. Was It hard to do? Was there a lot of residue left over to remove? How long did it take to remove it?

Btw, my vinyl doesn't look like yours. Maybe the cold and rain is protecting it.
