Pfadt Coilover Issue Resolved

If any of you have been following my issue with the Pfadt coil overs I thought I'd post to let everyone know the issue has been resolved.

Throughout this process Pfadt has been 100% responsive and went above and beyond to resolve the problem and explain the solution. I would not hesitate to buy Pfadt products in the future.

I'm sure SSteve will answer at some point too. Yes, they replaced the fronts only with Hypercoil linear rate springs. 250lb/in was the rate. I still have to adjust the rear damper settings back down to what I really liked and see if I am still getting the noise from the rears I had when first installed. I had to run them up higher as they were making noise too... I never asked SSteve if he had probs with the rears.

This will have nothing to do with their lowering springs. This was unique to their coilovers...

"they replaced the fronts only with Hypercoil linear rate springs"

so Hypercoil makes their springs?

Yes, they replaced the springs. The originals were a new design they had hoped would eliminate the need for the "helper" spring; it was a dual spring rate spring. But the problem was that the lower rated portion of the spring was fully compressed which caused it to make noise. So they switch to a spring with a single spring rate.

I'm not sure that Hypercoil makes all their springs, they just scrambled to find some springs to resolve the problem units.
