That blows away a stock 1LE! Other SS Camaro's are faster in the 1/4 or 1/8th. The 1LE is handling for a road course. From a roll, I leave it at that...

Regarding the RS package:

To be clear, the RS package (RPO code WRS) is an option on the 1/2LT cars. And it costs $1,950.
It's not even available on the V-8 cars, but most of the content is included as standard equipment in the V-8 cars.

Just wanted to make sure that was clear.

If I get another new car it won't be Mustang because, I don't want independent rearend & they're ugly now,so Z28 or 2SS would be my choice.
All 5th and 6th Gen Camaros have independent rear suspension

Really GM? :(
In '13, the conv. was 7K more than the coupe.

Good To Hear ,
Yet the Camaro has always been known as the working mans performance car ,Is GM missing their target market?

Price a Mustang with same options and your right there on price. But they don't offer mag ride, NPP, or a auto with pp package.

How could anybody expect gm to sell a overall better more refined car for less that's just not logical to me. Plus this will be the cheapest car in GM line up with MRC, just look at how much the ZL1 cost for example. We get close to Zl1 performance but missing like 120hp for 17k cheaper plus 200 to 250lb lighter package I see that as a win for us Camaro lovers. I can see a 2SS with MRC and a good power to weight ratio giving a ZL1 run for it's money IMO.
Reading comprehension fails you. I've never said it would be the same or cheaper. But Al o. Said to reference the mustang as a general price point. Which makes sense since its the direct competition. Sadly GM stuffed alot into a standard model and the price jumped. Sucks for the guys who want a basic v8 sports car.

I thought that sounded strange that you can't get a '16 Mustang GT with perf pack and auto, but I checked and you're right. That makes me think their 6spd auto isn't suited for track work.
