Naturally, I'm very happy with my JBA shorties and mids for bolt-on setup.

Instead of a catback, just do an axle back of your choice. The main weight culprit are those R2D2's in the back.

I had solo's midpipes for about 5 months. With the Solo mid pipes, and stock exhaust, for my A6 it was dynoed at 351 hp. Just had LT's/cats and new exhaust (and tune) installed, I am at 385 hp/375 tq.

I had jba mids and ran 2 tenths better than other ss cars without them. (same mods otherwise).

Better watch out boys, put the new cold air intake on tonight

Seriously, sounds like a whole new car. Will put up some photos tomorrow. (Got the black wrinkle finish)

Seat of pants feels like a .10 but will see at the track.

Nice. I think it will be pretty cool tonight, headed up to GLD (Great Lakes Dragaway) to make some baseline runs. Any last minute advice? I hear sport mode winds out the rpms a bit more, how do I access that, put the shifter in the back position?

Yours can breathe now.

Try running Tap shift and listen to the exhaust/feel the difference in WOT from 1-2- o yeah.

Plan on getting out for TT first time this weekend. Going back to stock first to try to put my skills learned since first event to work, so I can raise my L99 rank. Then its back to normal-growl and all.

Enjoy your new toy.

Thanks man!! Single work to describe the kit from cold air inductions is WOW! We looked it over real good and the craftmanship was awesome. Everything was TIG welded up, and the black wrinkle finish looks killer.

After installing it, looked over at my buddy and said "You know what time it is" He says "TEST DRIVE!!!".

Dropped my jaw the first time I heard it when it was opened up. My car actually sounds like a muscle car now! First mod I would suggest to anyone with a new 5th gen.

As long as you dont bump me down the stock L99 list

Yeah I always run in sport mode. Seems like it bumps the RPM up a little and shifts a little harder. Havent verified this in the tune though.

Anyway- Pull back stick to sport mode and hold down the TC button for about 7 seconds and you will see it light up both TCS/Stabilitrack in the dash as OFF.

I have ran 25-30 PSI in the tires with about the same results. Best was 1.96 60' stock.

Do a small burnout to clean the tires, then bump into the lights and get up on the convertor to about 1000 then drop the hammer. Maybe 100 more rpm or 100 less rpm depending on what your car likes. But it should be in the 900-1100 range.
You can feel it when you leave on the perfect RPM because its much smoother and will show in the 60'.

Biggest thing is to make sure the car is cool (below 195) so it wont pull timing. If the DA is good, you should be LOW 13s.. maybe even high 12s!

I got 80 or so runs logged now stock, and my best MPH was 107 in the l99. 13.1 ET in the 1/8 and 8.501 in the 1/8.

If track is decent, you shouldnt have much problems with spinning.

I like to cycle through my options and have engine coolant up on the dash to watch it in staging and when I leave (for my notes).

GL Man

How do you cycle through options, I'd love to see coolant temp! If I could cool down and then just pull the lane, shut off, and then start up and pull forward then I should be able to keep temps down.

I have no idea what it will run, 13.2x would be a nice start.

Should be on the left of the steering wheel. Mine says menu or something on the button. I push the button until it says something about "Vehicle Information". Then you rotate forward and back in between the different readings.

Yeah once you get to the track and let it cool off, you should be fine about getting it to the lanes without getting it hot (195+). What gets it is idling even whens its cold my will get up to 200+ (46degrees outside).

Factory fans kick on at like 219 and stay of for 30 seconds so that usually drops it down to 205.

I think you should be doing 13.2x as long the the DA is under 2000!
