I live in Sweden and in the summer of 2012 I took my family on a holiday to Italy. We passed through Germany from north to south. About a 1000km of Autobahn .
Most of the time there is alot of traffic and trucks on the road. But it's always a fast tempo. Cars with caravans har doing 75 mph and family cars, like big Audis, are doing 100-110.
I had my SS up to about 150 mph. The whole trip was 3500 miles long, and I did 28 mpg.

But it's all good fun. Just remember that 60% of the Autobahn is limited to 75 mph.

Having my camaro here in Germany was a big part of why I bought mine before I moved out here. At first doing 180 is exciting but when you cruise at that speed its not as fun. A big tyhing is worrying some asshat with a trailer on his 335i doesn't try and pass a Lori while you are closing in fast I know I have tested the hell out of brembos out there PM me if you get your car here I'll cruise the autobahn with a second camaro around Nurnburg I'm in Bavaria

Sorry but your are wrong on that part!
You will have to take the car to the TÜV if you want to make the car street legal in Germany.
Custom just wants to collect their taxes!

Yep and I hate the TUV
I don't know how they are now, but back then a little rust on the car or muffler and you fail...the rules in Deutschland sucks for a car lover
