Mylink nav upgrade.

Buying a zl1 that has mylink but no nav. Is there anyway to upgrade the system to have navigation on it? Or does anyone sell mylink systems that I can just replace my current one with? Have been looking and finally found the car I like, hoping there are solutions to this LOL

This is the exact option I used...Couldn't justify spending close to $800.00 just for MyLink Nav. or OnStar guidance...I don't travel that much and the cost of a GPS with lifetime updates is well worth the savings...

Get a garmin, dont even think of wasting your time with the factory NAV. I have the nav, and honestly its OK, but their updates cost $180 and they are old even then.

I went as far as to run the power wire over the mirror, across the headliner, down the inside of the a-pillar and then wired in a new power plug behind the dash. Now when I put my Garmin on the window, the power cord is a very short piece hanging down from above instead of on the dash. Works great for me. The MyLink was not available in my '12.
