When Will You Buy a New Camaro?

Will you order/buy as soon as possible, later, not sure, never?

I'm ordering as soon as the order books hit dealers.

I'm going to trust Oshawa to build with Quality.

They have a great record for quality.

I'm waiting for the SS. And for the dealers to not charge premium above sticker.

I'm one for patience. However, I have two senarios:

1. December 09. I'll buy mine alla ebay. I did this with my RX-8. Got a 33k package with only 2300 miles on it for 22,500. My thing is part of the crowd may drive the car off the lot realize it's not like their Lexus or BMW and trade it in for a Mercedes and loose half like this poor sap did. Here comes sap #2, driving one off the lot thinking its got a spot for his Miachiato and realize it spills right into his lap when he puts it in gear for all the f**king torque and raw power. Drives it to the nearest VW dearlership looking for a Passat.

Now you will probably ask..."dude, what is a Starbucks drinking, Kenny-G listening, democrat doing in a Camaro?" Thought the car was the hot new item and gives it a shot and wants to try something new and finds out he's a V-Dub guy still. Well, not all us MBA's think alike, much less drive the same cars. See, I want my employees to hear me when I pull in. Gives them a fair amount of time to stop fooling around and get back to work when I pull in with my Dunkandonuts coffee, AC/DC blaring, card-carrying Republican ass.

Senario #2 says I buy mine new off the lot in March, SC 500hp + and say, "had to save you from getting Starbucks spilled on you."

Only monkey in my wrench is... wil there be 500hp in March...???

for i have already put 5k dwn on my camaro at my dealer.
It also is not a markup that will be taken off cars price.
and the poll is wrong.
There will be a z28 and ss model realesed in the spring z28 is gunna be a stock ls3
ss will be the ls3, supercharged kinda like the caddy, but will have other interior options included.

That's good stuff! You are confirmed.

I didn't think of that one - you can't change the choices, since you'll be ordering asap choice 1 is closest.

I'm thinking along the same lines concerning buying in December. Gives ample time to save up a good sized down payment and by December the smart dealers won't be able to ask for an exorbitant price. The absolute hardest thing to do will be to remain patient when 5th gens hit the streets. Keeping up the discipline will be easier said than done but I'm confident I'll be able to do it. Now hopefully my bottled water drinkin', college educated Democratic behind doesn't spill anything in the car (sarcasm off).

It doesn't arrive here until 2010 - so I don't know what'll happen yet - it's still too far away. In the meantime I have my Monaro and may go back to 911 ownership.
