My Car Made My Day (again)

I know I've seen so many threads on this, but I just had to add one more.

I'm pulling out of a parking space at the CVS today and a young man about 6 and his mom are crossing near my car. The little guy yanks his mom's hand and points at my car with a "mommy mommy!". I waved as I carefully passed by.

There sure is something about this car that just delivers a charge to the viewer. I have gotten so many compliments about my car from people I don't know.

Not too bad behind the wheel either but this was certainly the highlight of my day.

I like that too... I used to get a lot of little kids yelling about my "Transformer" car, not as much anymore but I enjoy the attention from young and old.

Had that same feeling today, I finally had the opportunity to wash my car for the first time in 4 months (as it previously sat under a cover for the last 4). Love seeing the sun shine off the IOM, winter was getting depressing, but its all smiles now.

No doubt about it, the car just stands out as unique on the road. I've had a ton of little kids stop with wide open mouths when they saw my car pass by, they point and go crazy. As time has gone on either I've gotten used to it or kids have seen more of the car, but I still get that wide-eyed stare.

My neighbour has two young boys 4 and almost 2 and today they were outside and gravitating to my car. Their younger boy was just mesmerized and wouldn't listen when he was asked by his parents not to get too close. I asked if it was ok with them if he could come for a closer look and sit inside. And he just beamed! I picked him up and sat him in and if anything I think my little Bee made his day! I always get a charge out of the kids! They relate to it in such a different way. It's refreshing to see their pure enjoyment of it, even if it is a Transformers thing!
Reminds me of being a little girl going to car shows with my dad and getting the odd opportunity to sit in the ****pit of their 'baby's'. Paying it forward I guess...
