Any painted cowls out there?
Has anybody painted their cowls yet? Any Pics? Looking to get mine painted or purchasing a painted cowl! I'm just trying to get the black plastic pieces on this car painted! I once saw a vendor or here selling a carbon fiber one, but I can't remember there name! Also would like to get that triangle behind the mirrors painted! Thanks in advance!

Moved. And painting the cowl? Do you plan on having a single stripe on the back, or do you just want the hood to have the "stripe"?
I have a carbon fiber cowl which is left clear to show it, and the carbon fiber trunk I have in the back is masked off and painted to continue the carbon fiber "stripe". |

was he asking about the black plastic wiper cowl? the piece that is right by the wiper arms that you see a lot of when the hood is open...

make sure it gets sanded down, or bondo'd over to get the texture out of it... if it was smooth and gloss black it would look great... maybe talk to a painter who has done the rear exhaust shroud, it would be the same process...
