Got my 10's on pump gas!
When I traded my SS for the ZL1 last summer, I had one goal...
A simple combo that would go 10's on 20" drag radials, 93 octane, and at full weight. Andy at ADM put an LS9 cam in it, a 9.55 lower, some Stainless Works headers, some injectors, and a larger heat exchanger. Super simple combo, and the car makes 12-13lbs of boost. And after making 7 different 11.0x passes this summer.... Now it might be time to start pulling weight out of it and throw the 114 octane tune in it and see how fast it will actually go with these parts? Then maybe more cam, some TFS heads, a converter.....and start hunting for 9's??? |

Great runs man. Hope to see ya in the nines. I have re-challenged myself to go nines but with a manual like i always wanted. So im in process of converting back and adding a few key parts to go with it.

Super impressive to be at full weight on pump gas being driven by an Ogre sized individual!

And I'm back out here again today seeing if I can back it up in this November "heat".
Another 11.00x pass first time and sitting in the lanes surrounded by Honda Civics that keep oiling the track down. |
