We were a group of pre-orders. We ordered our cars and put up the deposits in Oct of 08. Turns out we were a "marketing test". Anyway, we ordered first expecting to be the first to get our cars. But our cars all had issues and were QC'd for unknown reasons. Many folks who ordered way after we did got their cars, and it was a very frustrating ordeal. Mine was built the last week of March 09, but I did not get it until the end of June. We became close on this forum, all looking for our cars and not getting any answers from GM. The folks here like 2010SSRS and spastic squirrell helped us to maintain sanity by tracking our cars down for us, and could often give us info the dealer could not.

I live near Vancouver BC home of the 2010 Olympic's. Just was not possible to drive mine there. I am the second farest away, attending C5 Fest just behind the father and son team El Diablo and El Diablo Jr. They are coming from Fort St. John BC 8 hrs. north fo me.

I think we exchanged PM's back in the day, never thought we would meet. Thanks for thr invitation to park with the group from Area 51, but will be parking with the Bro's from Canada. You can't miss us with the 22' flag poll we be errecting.

Working my last shift right now! Leave tomorrow morning 520 am out of Bellingham WA to Seattle and then on to Orlando. Can't wait to get there, it's going to be a hoot.:5thgenvert:

im in the middle east and i know when i bought my car it was relatively old to all other cars being sold vin 17000 range when all others were 35000-45000+

First 2500 for sure except for #1 and #2 which Rick Hendricks had trucked in straight from the factory. After that it was spot checks.
