Question RS Headlight Compatibility

I've got a set of RS HID headlights I bought (off this forum) many years ago for my 2010 Camaro. I then upgraded to a 2013 Camaro and swapped the '10 RS lights in no problem. So I assume the lights are also comparable with 2011 and 2012 Camaros as well? What about 2014 and 2015? The bumpers of the '14 and '15 look a little different but I can't tell from photos if the lights are actually different. I ask because my lease is up soon so I'm getting ready to sell the lights. I know that on all non-RS cars, you will need a custom wiring harness to properly use the lights.

Not RS:

2014-15 RS headlights are way different in Halo shape - and to the right of the Halo there is a rectangle with the word "Camaro" in it - does not show well in this picture

RS headlight swap into non RS

I also have a 2013 that I want to put RS headlights in. Some of the places I have been looking at say that the headlights are specifically for non-RS cars. I was wondering what he difference is and if and or why it isn't a straight across swap.

The RS and non-RS lights physically fit in all cars across the compatible years. The issue is the wire connectors are a little different. This is because the non-RS car uses low voltage low beams (or is it high beams) for daytime running lights. The RS lights are HID so you can't give them low voltage, so they use the fog lights as DRL's instead. So to use these lights in a non-RS car, you need little adapter harnesses that convert between 3 and 4 pin connectors. And they also need relays in them so when you send low voltage to the low beams, it ups it to full voltage. I have these harnesses too but the relays no longer work, so I would have to turn off the automatic lights every time I got in the car. It's a little bit of a pain but it's totally worth it. The light output difference between HID and non-HID is gigantic.
