I will have to try and find one on a local dealers lot to see what it would take to make a pattern and have them done. I believe it is the same as the Hot Wheels and Dusk Edition spoilers.

I believe that is correct. I've had vehicles with low front spoilers/air dams like this and before you know it they are all scraped up and eventually split.

So I would like a product like this to prevent that mangled front end. I'd appreciate a product like this and I'm sure others would too. At the price of the ZL1 piece I would definatley buy one.

There should be more vehicles out there with this spoiler too. More potential sales.

My order for the high density plastic version arrived on Thursday. The temps reached the mid 40's yesterday so I took advantage of the warmer weather to install the protector.

I'd give the product an A- for quality. One of the straight pieces was slightly warped at one end. This is probably a non-issue with the aluminum version.

Removing the 18 screws from the splitter was rather tedious but other than that installation was straight forward.

The product definitely looks like it will protect the bottom of the splitter from scrapes.

Here are some photos before and after the install.

Thanks for the pics and review. As far as the minimal gap on the end of the straight piece, it is possibly from shipping. If you take that piece off, bend it hard in the opposite direction and reinstall it, you should be good to go. It is very tough and flexible material, so breaking it should not be a fear. Just don't try to bend it in half!!

Any chance you could make this for the SS with factory ground effects?

I installed the high density black plastic version and would guesstimate the weight of all 5 pieces adds up to less than 1/2 a pound.

Applying some Adams Super VRT to the outer edge of the protector made the color blend better with the color of splitter. Now you can hardly tell I have the protector installed.
