Have you downloaded the SCT software program? If not that is the problem. Go to that link and enter your serial number. The next screen should have an option for downloading the program.

Then you need to either delete the SCT driver (again) or get it to resync via Start>control panel>System>system properties>hardware>device manager...
Do this ^^^^

If you dont have that software then the drivers will not install correctly.

Make sure when you do the downloading that the handheld is not plugged in. When is the fuel line going to show up?

Our tuner is in-house Monday and Tuesday, so lets try to get this going by tomorrow

Fuel line hopefully shipped today. I tried EVERYWHERE today to get one.

So, can you delete the driver? now that the software is there...
if that doesnt work then maybe something is wrong internally... I am trying to get more info from 'the tuner'

Zebra, Linux FTW! (I am married to a computer geek)

I wonder if it's because that device has been used on another car?

I am sure Jessika will get it figured out with PQ.

I don't think it would be because it should still be recognized by the updater software.
Some suggestions from 'the tuner', Re-boot the computer, re-load the driver & make sure you are using a high speed 2.0 USB cable.'

I have pool league tonight, so I'll check in from my handy dandy iPhone... but hopefully Ill be able to sleep allll night tonight

Ok. I have uninstalled everything SCT on my computer. I have rebooted the computer. I re-installed and tried again, tuner NOT plugged in on install. I manually disabled and reinstalled the drivers.

Nothing.

I'm a computer moron apperently. I know this stuff works. But it's NOT user freindly. I've never had this much problem with stuff in the past.

Just thinking about this tuner makes me cringe. It's been this type of thing since I had it. I'm just not computer smart enough for this.

Any ideas?

It's a helluva thing to install a SuperCharger in your car and then get stuck on a PC in the house.

Maybe I should have my son or daughter try it.

No matter what I download off of the SCT site for my tuner, it won't show the full screen and won't expand and wont work. Ugh........... what a pain.
