What's with the "mullet" thing?

I haven't been immersed in the Camaro Universe for very long so maybe I missed something...

What's with the "mullet" comments regarding the Camaro?

I assumed they always associated 3rd Gens with trailer parks, but that always pissed me off cause ive seen a LOT more trailer park Foxbodies and a LOT more Foxbody mullets...and especially with how refined and "world class" the Camaro is now, its quite a bit off base

So one "B-movie" character drives a particular car and it labels it for life? I don't get it....

Some A-hole told me I had a Camaro Mullet the other day and had to stomp him and his piss arse rustang in the ground.

I have long hair not a mullet.

Oh yeah that was after my car got hit. I am slowly trying to get back to being nice to everyone but kind of hard.

I have a reverse mullet, just like the Camaro has a reverse mohawk.
