yes you are, it prevents chipping and pitting, Exflirt posted a website for it a few posts earlier here, more info there.

yea, I didn't know what it was either....seems kinda gimmicky to me, if something hard enough hits your bumper, it will go right through that stuff, from what I can tell it is really thin. But it might help with bugs. I would personally worry about the discoloration issues between it and the rest of the car.

It looks like it is coming away from the dash by above the HUD controls.

That's the spot I was talking about. Looks like it's pulling away from the seam. They need to fix that or it'll get worse in the sun & heat cycles.

When applied correctly and fully dry, the "bra" is pretty tough. It's meant to protect your paint from road debris and causing chips or scratches.....bugs too. Think of it as cheap insurance vs having to repaint your entire front clip.

It's not meant for stopping heavy damage cause by serious blunt force.

She lives in northern california, 400 miles away. She picked it up today and is out driving it.
