Hey guys! So I have been reading all the posts for months now and have decided to finally join!I had some questions I wanted some advice on. I'm 23 years old and recently bought a used 2010 Camaro 2SS L99 and have done some minor mods to it in the past couple months. So far, I've tinted all the windows with 20%, tinted the tail lights, and blacked out the bow ties. The first picture is when I picked it up from the dealership and the second picture is from last weekend when I did the minor mods. I am looking at adding a CAI and exhaust system within the next month and was wondering what order I should add them? Should I get the CAI first or exhaust first? Thanks guys!

if your adding them both anyway the order doesn't matter too much, I would personally do my exhaust first

Thanks everyone! Since I am pretty young and don't want to void my warranty by tuning out my AFM, what would people recommend my combination be for CAI and exhaust system that wont increase the AFM noise (too much)?

I would recommend you to read the stickies and look back through the last several pages of posts in the sections you're interested in. Many or most of your questions should be answered in those pages.

I've been reading posts on exhausts and CAI's for the past few months. I havent really found much for L99's without tuning AFM out. Anybody have any sound clips or advice for exhausts without tuning the L99? Thanks guys.

Vararam air intake or cold air inductions are both good intakes with nice gains. And if ur not goin with a tune for the afm maybe checkout corsa exhaust.

Thanks everyone. I love this site! Does anyone have an L99 without a tune that can help me out with the exhaust system?

If your a true GM fan you will not say you have a C5 (that's a 5th gen Corvette)!
You have a 5th gen Camaro lol lets keep it going please. But please welcome and nice car regardless.

If you are definitely not getting a tune, I would get the intake first. Just from reading on here it seems difficult to find good performance-enhancing exhausts for the automatic WITHOUT either living with drone or having to tune out AFM. Not to mention finding the exhaust sound you want, etc...so if I was having to choose between the two, I'd go with the CAI.
Personally, I'm saving up and getting the CAI/exhaust/tune package offered at the closest muscle car specialist to me (after a couple of non-warranty-voiding mods first.) Edit: I also notice you are in CA; I think you have even more exhaust issues to worry about to pass inspection there. A search on it will reveal more.
