LS3 VS Coyote Budget Shootout Results: (Finally)
I don't know if anyone else has been following the LS3 vs Coyote shootout over at Enginelabs but they finally posted the results almost a year after they started the comparison. (August 10, 2015) I completely forgot about the series as I am sure most of you did since it took them so long to finish it. Anyways here is a link to the article incase anyone wants to check it out.

Read it before, yes they take a used ford engine re do the thing and still cant beat a ls3 crate engine with ported heads by a long shot. Cant beat torque for moving a heavy object.

I don't think these guys know how to build a Coyote engine.

LOL, I like how they threw money away on valve springs, fuel rails, a Moroso oil pan, MSD Blaster coils, and H-Beam rods. And they could have used a GT350 IM instead of the Boss. It would have been more money but would have worked much better. And it probably would have allowed them to rev it to 8000. Guys with Coyotes and nothing but headers, 350 IM, intakes, and custom tuning are revving to 7600 RPMs on the stock cams and making around 450 to the wheels if not more. There is no way these guys couldn't do more than that with a set of stage 3 cams.

Probably why it took so long to get finished. Couldn't figure out how to out do the LS with the same budget...

Nice little story. Now I know what to do if I ever wreck a F150. If I want power. I'll boost the coyote.
