Out of curiosity is there any possibility this can be made into plug and play harnesses?

I got my panels yesterday and not sure I follow this all completely. Plus I'd like to be able to take these panels with me if I ever trade up to a SGM SS.

I'm not trying to take over this thread but I'll apologize in advance either way.

Is there no other way to add door lock buttons to a previous year model? Is there no room to just cut out a spot and insert the door locks? I could care less about having it look stock-ish.

I am sure that can be done but we all chose to make it look stock. Let us know if you try it and it works. Good luck

Thanks. I'm going to investigate tomorrow. I may start a new thread so I don't muck up this one.

I have used Momentary Rocker Switch on cars without new doors panels, works great, this save money and time is just a tip, but I prefer the new doors panels

DWALEX, thanks for the info and this thread. I just can't justify buying a whole new door panel for a switch, if you know what I mean. There's plenty of room on the current "plate", just under the window switches, that would fit the lock switches perfectly. I actually just tried to remove that entire assy with no luck. Do you remember how that assy comes out? Removing the whole panel may be required I'm afraid.

I'd try getting in contact with Gen5DIY - they might be able to help you out. But

I've checked online for the lock switches and found a different part# for the drivers side. It's one number off from your listed passenger side--
Driver side lock switch part# 22847867. Just sharing the info. I'd love to get the part number off the plate!!!
