Yes Pappa I'm in the same boat as you, deposit paid,#1 at my dealership, dealer says no problem, yet GM Canada still has 0 allocations. The problem with this is, if all initial ZL1 allocations are spoken for by US dealers before any allocations are given to Canadian dealers, deposit or not,we aree SOL on the ZL1. Yet another example of GM shafting the Canadian buyer.

I was told by my dealer at Maroone Chevrolet that only the smaller dealerships are being "allocated a cetain amount" he told me to come in on Nov. 4th and we will sit down and build one with no deposit or markup. He said that I could give him a check for $500 to hold that spot but it was not necessary. I do know that this dealership is one of the bigger ones in West Palm Beach. Should I be worried? But put me on the list cause Iwill be sitting in his office on Nov. 4th building my own. Now I have to figure out if I want ashen gray or black.

I cannot wait till I get my first ticket!!!!!!!!!

Well... hopefully its just because we a month behind U.S. Worst case if we get the shaft.Might be forced to get a new GT500 or Dodge Challenger! I hold grudges!

It’s the only one I can guarranty and since you’re the first guy on my list its yours. I would imagine if it comes in and goes out quickly I’ll get more but I cannot guarranty any to anyone else at this time.

I'm with you. By all means my first choice is the ZL1 but if 0 allocations are slotted for Canada in the 2012 year I'm not sitting on my a$$ for a year to wait for the chance to get a 2013. I'll buy something else. I love Camaro but there are other options for this level of performance.
