Dead Batteries

I've had 2 dead batteries since I bought my Camaro in 2010. After replacing the battery the engine cranks over slower and slower over time.
I'm wondering if I need a higher amp alternator due to the added strain of the supercharger? Anyone else experiencing this issue or have upgraded the alt or battery?

Hmm, I had a TVS-2300 on the car for 6 yrs and no issue with battery drain due to excess current draw. Sort of sounds like you have a problem with your electrical system that possibly could be detected by someone with the right diagnostic equipment?

Wish I was more help. Keep us posted please.

I've been told that living in very hot locations can reduce the life of the battery significantly. I live in Las Vegas and moving to AZ next month so we'll see. There's no corrosion any where on the battery and the clamps were tight. After I move I'll check for current flow on the battery when the car is off.

I had a similar issue and last sunday it decided to just not start. I think a ground slowly got loose somewhere. I ran a new ground and its working just fine again.

It's the stock OEM battery, no codes. I need to look at the supercharger intercooler pump connections.

Any other mods? Taillights, or anything that connects to the OBD connector under the dash?

Was an undersized crank pulley included in the supercharger install?

All my mods are HP related. Just the intercooler pump.

I had a similar problem with slow cranking on my supercharged L99, I fitted an MSD Dynaforce starter and problem is solved.
Search MSD starter for my thread.

Do you happen to remember the MSD part number? I didn't find your link.
