Hey guys. I noticed a scratch on the car just next to my driver's side headlight. Not sure how it happened. How do you all deal with scratches? I'll take a picture of it later today.

I'm on the hunt for some 20" matte black wheels and tires to match. I don't want to go staggered, because I'd like to be able to have them rotated like a normal set. I've looked in the wheels and tires section of the forum, but at this point I'm more lost than ever. I'd like to stay below $2000 for the wheels and tires. Any suggestions on quality brands near that price? I've searched and there's just too much out there for a beginner to sift through.

You can always get the ZL1 replicas and the tires shouldn't be as much.
Congratulations on the new car. Believe me that it is an amazing experience owning a new car. Especially if that car has been your dream car for years.

This thread hasn't been updated in a while... It's only because I can't pull the trigger on wheels. I can't decide whether to go black and the complete blacked-out look or go with silver or chrome wheels instead.

Also, for the cost of wheels and tires... I can do a number of other mods on my wish list.

Any advice?

I will have to agree. I have a black 1LS and I sneeze and it gets dirty. I am going to get XO berlin wheels. One of my club members is getting them and I am going to powdercoat them gloss black. With the cash for new rims you can get a bunch of other exterior parts or even interior parts.

I hear ya. The steel wheels look bad. I keep going back and forth, but will probably go with wheels/ tires first. I have looked through the wheels threads on the forum, but still don't see a set of black wheels that stand out (in my price range). I'm looking to stay near the $2,000 mark.

@ 31B- I checked out tirerack and nothing really stood out to me.

@ Michaels2011- I live just off 2-95 and Baymeadows, so not too far from you. Did you deal with bestwheeldeals personally? Also, do you install mods yourself or can you recommend an area shop that does quality work at a reasonable price? I don't trust myself to install exhaust since I'm new to all this. Thanks
