Andy so yours would only be closed or factory? that is not exactly what I want. I leave mine open 98% of the time and use the factory as best as I can as a creep mode.

but I could not do without the OPEN always function.
I'd be all over this if it had all 3.

This is more-or-less my stance as well. I've had my fuse pulled since day 1 of ownership. I wouldn't need factory functionality. Just open or closed whenever I want. Still a unique kit though!

It's made for header cars. Header cars are way to loud at startup

Well "loud" is subjective but I get what you're saying. The issue then is; Once you're out and about, you don't have any way to increase the volume short of mashing the throttle. It's the single reason why I'm going to pass on this.

I want to repeat once again that it's a fantastic kit and certainly unique. Ten people with headers and headaches will certainly be satisfied.

I love the sound of my car going through the loud part of the muffler.. but the problem is others arent as crazy about it.

So need a way to be open and closed too.

sad face :( need both.

put headers on the car and no cats then you will understand.

already have.. and cammed.. and heads..
and with the DM exhaust I still run open 99% of the time.

but late nights in my neighborhood or when you end up right next to a cop or just when you want to really be a sleeper..

closed would be a godsend.
but open is mandatory as well.

I don't need to have them installed on my car to understand. I've heard plenty of cars with catless exhaust to know. In fact, I was just at Race Proven Motorsports around Feb. and they had a brand new CTS-V they had just finished with 2' headers through straight pipes all the way back, head work and cam. They started it and revved it for me and I didn't think it was that bad... A lot of other people would though. But that's why I say the term "loud" is subjective. What you, the police or the neighbors might find to be too loud, might not be that loud to me.
