Finally got my PS4. This thing has the noisiest disc drive ever. Almost embarrassing for the first three minutes after putting a disc in.

Congrats! Mine isn't noisy. I've heard of some PS4's having noisy disc drives though.

I've owned mine since launch and it's never had a disc in it.

Been playing RE1 for several hours,I almost forgot how awesome it was, i also forgot how horrible the camera angles were too, lol so many things that you didnt really notice back then but you do 17 years later...wow, really 17 YEARS ago, makes me feel old.The Game Cube version was really ahead of its time, and they did a really good job remaking it for these consoles. The graphics update is refreshing, ALOT of detail went into making this game originally "alot of realistic environments and aspects that even todays games are missing" the enhancements that were done is sufficient and is still good even at todays standards with the new gen consoles. This game is very nostalgic to me and i am really enjoying it just like i did way back then

Resident Evil was so much fun back in the days. I think I'll pass on the new remake though.

It's pretty good. So far there was one story element that really made no sense and kinda threw me off my appreciation of the game. But the gameplay is good. And it's always fun to start off an open world game where you basically aren't strong enough to fight anything at first.

My son is sitting here playing the PT demo "which we have gone through probably 20 times" and i have realized that this little demo sports better graphics than any PS4 game

I'm pretty addicted to it. Campaign seems long and it's enjoyable.

Yeah that was a pretty incredible experience for what that was. If Silent Hills is anywhere near like P.T. Then it's gonna be incredible.

Yes sir, PT demo is amazing, the experience you get the very first time you play it is priceless. I dont think ive ever been that creeped out playing a game before, and ive been a huge fan of survival horror ever since RE1. My wife was sitting there watching me and she was even dreading every corner i turned.
