Sorry guys...but I canceled my 2LT RS Camaro today...it really hurt me inside...but I did it for my own good. Waiting for the Camaro drove me nuts. I went from I cared less about going out as much as I do now but enjoy the Camaro to forget the Camaro and enjoy our lifestyle back and forth constantly.

If the Camaro WAS at the showroom...I would have had it. But again...waiting for it made me REALLY think about spending $800/month on it. I am a REALLY responsible guy for my age...so ALOT of thought went into my decision.

I got 0 debt...just to throw that out there. Last night at 3am in the morning driving down the 210-E driving home...I just told my wife...no more Camaro. It hurt her to see me turn down the Camaro...but I decided to do it.

I had to throw my shades on indoors as I walked outta the dealer with my head low. Hurt me that bad. But 1hr after I got my check back... I was alerted my CGM Camaro has a new owner.

No Camaro in the future for me so far. I might look into a G8 or a Brazen Orange GTO later on in the year when Pontiac liquidates their. Haven't made up my mind. Thanks for the help guys. This is an AWESOME site...I'm done. And NO...I am not blaming GM...just bad timing for me.

Ah, that's roughhhhhh. Good luck getting one in the future. Now, because you waited, the camaro will be much improved when you get it, and there will be a z28 that you'll be able to afford because you didn't throw all of your money at the camaro right now. Just think of it that way...

Good luck. If it doesn't work for me either, I'm building/ordering a mustang. I seen a Challenger in person(red)..sweet also..just too pricey, right now.

Did someone else buy your car? Being able to sleep at night knowing that you haven't gone over your heard in debt is priceless. If you financed $33k at 72 months with 5% APR you would be looking at about $530/month.

I had a Braze Orange GTO and its an awesome color and you can pick one up around 15k. Not a bad deal but the Camaro with warranty is a better bet IMO. You can get a 1LT or 1LS to save money and add other items later. If your willing to wait like you state you are you can get a used Camaro..

No surprise. After all, you had it on order for a couple of months and the whole time you've been lamenting your decision and second guessing your patience. You probably made the dealers day because he no doubt sold the car to someone else for $5,000 over sticker. Best wishes to you.

THat is sad, I am sure you will kick yourself. Responsibility is great and all, but we have so little time with this life we are given........It is a shame to deny yourself of such a luxury!

Dude im so sorry to hear this but you are wise and more responssible than I could ever be, wish you all the best and yes you did do the right thing.

There is no point in suffering financially just to show off a car every now and then. There are WAY more important things in life.
