No where near the same, because the interior would still look like a beetle and it would still drive like a beetle.... Plus depending on how you park you can only look at the side view of the Camaro which in profile changed very little.

Good point, but for me I couldn't do it knowing that there are parts of the design of the car that I don't like, now that said I would never try to sway anyone else to dislike the 14 simply because I do.

I can understand why some won't buy one for the way something looks on a car. I had a huge dislike of the giant exposed windshield wipers on the 4th gen when I test drove one right after they came out. I thought other than that they looked great. But knowing I would be looking at the ugly wipers every time I drove it just turned me away.

We need a tail-light forum....lol...
If they kept the tail-lights the same, there would be gripes about why no change....and everybody'd be happy with their current car....and not getting a '14 for that reason...lol....the more things change, the more they stay the same... Last edited by 90503; 08-12-2013 at 09:44 PM. |

Because of the redesigned front of the Camaro, air intake is increased and thus so is performance.
"A larger lower air intake flanked by available projector-style fog lights. The changes help improve engine cooling and reduce aerodynamic lift for greater high-speed stability, according to Chevrolet. Additionally, the Camaro SS gains a functional heat extractor punched into the top of the hood to reduce engine bay temperatures." The LED taillights are naturally brighter when compared to the previous lights. The hood extractor should have been made of higher quality material so expect many upgrades available as an easy mod. The taillights will look better smoked out. The exhaust tips and spoiler looks much better. Anything chrome looks/is cheap and should be blacked out. |

I looked at the 14's Myself and decided the change wasnt worth the wait and i liked the body of the previous.....So i got a 13....... Its not gonna appeal to everyone.....Cant get mad at someones opinion.....Out there is someone who thinks Camaros in general suck lets get mad at those guys not each other lol Just myyyy Opinion.....The Rear just doesnt have that personality to it anymore...Looks Kinda Bland and i dont know why the rear diffuser is pushed up so high.......And im not a Fan of the Sleeker Front....Thats Just me and i had the option to get Either Models........ I have never been a fan of the the 10-13 tail-lights they look just ok to me. I guess im in the minority when it comes to that. I love everything about the 2014 refresh. I'm debating if I should pull the trigger and buy a 14 SS or wait to see what the 6th gen looks like.

Not a fan of the tail lights, but I don't hate them. I'm Switzerland on this one.
