I actually do like the automatic option in the ZL1. That was one of the reasons I was looking into the ZL1.

as awsome as that video is that car the mod list is pretty off the charts. there is more too it than your saying. put prices next to this list and get to be some big $$$$. Awesome car but that is really high dollar build. proabably a six figure car easy. 8's are fast but six figures gets 8's out of any car really spent correctly.

Modification List
-L&M Race Engines Built 358 CID 5.8L 4V Diamond Pistons, Manley Pro Series I-Beam Rods, Billet Oil Pump Gears, ARP Main and Head Studs and Custom Cams
-Slawko Racing CNC Machined 4V Cylinder Heads and Intake Manifold
-Factory TR6060 6-Speed Manual Transmission
-Spec Twin Disc Clutch with Aluminum Flywheel
-Evolution Billet Crossmember with Transmission Mount
-3.6LC Kenne Bell Twin Screw Supercharger @ 22.8lbs of Boost
-Kenne Bell 168mm Oval Throttle Body
-ATI Racing 15% Overdrive Damper
-Fuel Injector Clinic 205lb Fuel Injectors
-Fore Innovations Triple Pump Return Fuel System
-JLT Performance "Super Big Air" 155mm Cold Air Intake
-American Racing 2" Longtube Headers with 3.5" Collector and Turndowns
-Steeda Adjustable Upper Control Arm and Mount
-Steeda Race Lower Control Arms
-Steeda Tubular Radiator Support
-Evolution Adjustable Panhard Bar and Brace
-Evolution FAB 9" Rear with Anti-Rollbar
-Dynotech Engineering Aluminum Driveshaft
-Barton Industries Billet Short Throw Shifter
-Black 15" Weld RT-S Wheels with Mickey Thompson ET Drag Slicks and Front Runners
-JRS Fabrication 10-Point Roll Cage
-Sunoco Racing Fuels E85-R
-Built By Evolution Performance, Inc.
-Custom Dyno Tuned By Jon Lund of Lund Racing

I still don't get the bickering. 10.5 is not hard to atain in either of these cars on tire. 10.5 is hard to atain of either of them without tire.

Both are great cars for different reasons. The people that "get it" understand this to be true.
As much as I hate to admit it, but I agree on this. Although it seems as if there are far more aftermarket parts for the mustang…at least the mustang sections in jegs and summit catalogues are far larger than the Camaro sections. And I absolutely hate that lol. I guess it could also be that you can't spit with out it landing on a mustang.

Me and my buddy left the road on new cut damn near killed us. I grew up in Phelps luck in Columbia in the 70's and 80's.

We had some close calls!!!! My friend lost it once catching quite a bit of air on one of the hills on College Ave. That was a needed to change my underwear day. LOL. Watching trees fly by sliding sideways at 70 MPH wasn't that fun. I cant believe the crap we did and didn't even think about what could happen. I guess that's what teenagers did.

Or, am I getting old now????

I agree with this statement, I do not believe that I would have to use a forum and ask people (especially Camaro people) which car that I would buy. That should be ultimately the buyers decision. If you chose wrong at least it would be your decision and no one making it for you.

Past:
-1977 K5 Blazer
-1995 Z28, mom's car, but I got the keys anytime I wanted in high school
-1994 S Blazer, the one that started my addiction to black cars
-1997 S-10
-1990 K5 Blazer(I don't think they called them K5 at this point)
Current:
-2007 Silverado
-2012 Camaro ZL1

and further my brother still has his first car, 1989 S-10 Blazer, about to be an antique, my other brother's first car was a 2000 Camaro

1990 was still a K5. They stopped calling the K5s when they changed the body style and the removable top went away. That's when they became the Tahoe.

To ride in comfort and style with the ability to sh-- and git when the situation warrants such action. My father had a 1971 corvette stingray 454, 3 speed that had a ride experience like a tank. Tore up the kidneys. Real fast but not something you want to be in for long hauls. Just my .02.
