Nitrous question
I am debating putting nitrous on my '13 2ls and I had a question. My buddy told me not to go nitrous because it will melt the pistons is this true?? and if not should I go with zex plate system of nitrous express?

Get whatever system you purchase "flowed" by Induction Solutions so is dialed in to begin with, then still do the spark plug checks after a clean 1/4 mile pass to read the plugs to ensure timing and fuel looks correct. (plus anytime you change jets) Nitrous gets a bad name from people who hook up a bottle and forget it IMO. Then pay close attention to the system, tank pressures, fuel pressures, and build in safegards like AFR cutout, low fuel pressure cutout, etc. I had a close friend blow up an engine... stem cause was not turning on the dedicated fuel system (operator error), but others just remember it was a nitrous car that blew up.
