nails in tires...
This car is a nail and screw in the tire magnet...
Anybody else have this issue? Picked up a screw with 20 miles on the car, luckily that one could be plugged and patched. Got in the car yesterday and air pressure was a bit low on the other rear. Got to lunch and saw a nail in the tire...and wouldnt you know, to close to the shoulder to plug and patch so im getting a new tire... 270 miles...  Discount though is selling me road hazard on all the tires for pretty cheap so I will be protected going forward. The dealer wanted like 1200 for the wheel and tire protection package so I passed... Discount is doing all 4 for like 40 bucks. |

I've got one but, it isn't leaking any air so, I'm afraid to try to remove it.

I drive my ZL1 only about 100 miles a month so I’ve been lucky. But my daily driver 2016 SS used to pick up nails often.

Be careful if driving plugged tires at very high speeds.

I've had two nails. Both after buying new tires. So I had to buy more new tires.
It's a magnet. |

If a patch plug is well installed from the inside out, the tire should be safe. We have patch plugged slicks and not had any issues. That said, if Michelin says it is bad...
