Congrats to every body that has received their beautiful new vehicle or has one on the way! But there are a number of us who's cars are still in Oshawa. Trying to get an idea of just how many. I know there is the "gray stripe issue", is anybody aware of anything else?

We've shipped some.

Each car was re-checked prior to sending to shipping - if something's wrong, we're going to fix whatever isn't the way it should be.

I can't tell you any more than that as I'm not in Oshawa.

I know how much you want to get behind the wheel - and I know that there aren't words that help at this point in time - but shortly you WILL experience severe 'Ultra-Grin'

"Shipped some". Hmmm. I wonder what the issue is with the others. Did the paint come off with stripe when it was pulled? This appears to be a pretty small group.

Looks like gray stripe with exposed CF is finally rolling!

I have the exposed CF and gray stripe and the car is still at 4B00 in Canada. Ohhh Canada. I think I'm about to make them keep it. This has been a huge turn off.

Congrats it must be somewhat of a relief. I'm getting to the point of considering other options. What is so wrong with my car that they can't get it shipped? I really suspect removing the stripe created a paint issue. It would be faster to just build a new one w/o the stripe--could have had it by now!!

My wife, all of my car buddies and my co-workers just sit and stare at me these days whenever I bring up "the car." Yes, it is a lonely world talking to yourself about 580 hp, generation 3 magnetic suspension, wide wheels, HUD, sticky tires, etc., etc. The dealership, the dealer's sales manager, my salesman, the ZL1 tech, the service writer, the detail guy and the owner himself try to avoid me and my inquiries. They don't return my calls or respond to e-mail inquiries. I've started therapy with a professional (fishing guide this week) and a female massage therapist (nice hands) just to relieve the stress and pass time. I plan to meet a few bartenders this week to talk about "the car" - you know, fresh sets of ears. The worst part is I started a little diet after I ordered the car and vowed to stay on the diet until the car arrived as my reward. Approaching now 10 weeks, I have lost triple the weight I planned to and can't fit into my clothes. I have waxed off a lot of the original paint on my other Camaros just to pass time and now I have taken to writing boring, long winded posts on Camaro5.com about my ZL1 blues. I'm hoping Fbodfather has a connection to hook me with with a discounted set of black ZL1 stock wheels and maybe a day or two at a performance driving school as an appreciative gesture for maintaining my patience with and my loyalty to Chevrolet. Now, pretty please, can someone hook a brother up with a ZL1??!!! See specs below. Word has it a car similar to mine is sitting in Oshawa.

Has production for the ZL1 started back up for this week? I'm supposed to have a TPW of April 9, so just trying to get an idea of how long til production.

My vin # is #9 and still bayed since end of January...I do agree with the removal of that Stripe being the issue.......hard to believe though because I have seen them put them on--unless maybe as the paint cures the stripe also cures making its removal difficult......
Who knows--Patience is a Virtue with this car..
I am Hopefully also going to order a 2013 Camaro Convertible.... I wonder which one will show up Earlier------Probably have the Convertible just in time for the First snow storm here in New York..... Harvey from Corvette Land...
